We see picking up trash (on the street, on a hike path/mountain trail) as a game. We collect so much plastic that when it's time to head back we ask other people's help to carry some of the trash bags we collected, we explain what we're doing and they start volunteering and contribute in their own way for a cleaner environment!
We were really thrilled hearing and seeing lots of #trashtag, and we said it's time for us to take on a whole beach clean up! So #TrashTag Challenge Accepted. We believe that we still have time to save the our planet if we all work together!
If you haven't already checked out our Europe cycling trip, here is the video, you can also check out our daily adventure photos of this unique experience!
Tzoumerka is a lesser known destination even for locals. This might just be the Greeks' best kept secret! Stone mansions, cobblestone streets, scenic vistas and quaint squares with Greeks drinking their fave coffee! Every corner of this place is instagrammable. This place is also a paradise for outdoor activities : trekking, hiking, canyoning, rafting and even just by looking what is around you.
The Lake below is called "Limni Kremaston" and it was in our way to Tzoumerka
Cheap tickets is one of the key parts of how we travel, finding them requires patience and a lot of flexibility. --At the time that we are writing this blog, there was another 1€ ticket sale!!-- Keep up to date with this promotions and sign up in our newsletter.
Most of our flights (Rhodes, Santorini, Mykonos, etc..) are the same price!
Summer is here so we packed all our camping gear and got ready for the road!
This is the first time that we are bringing anyone with us for such a long trip. This is also Ntak’s first time in a road trip and camping trip: Challenge accepted!
Crete is a destination worth a visit. From amazing beaches of Matala and Hersonissos, to Cretan cuisine and to ancient Faistos civilization , you can see and experience all of these and more when you visit Crete! We explore the highlights in 12 days. Here is a short summary of our Crete trip:
We're back in Santorini for 2019! We spent 2 days last December 2018, this time around we spent 7 whole days just exploring the island.
There are still not a lot of tourists in the island but there is already a lot of traffic from locals working/will work in Santorini. We saw a lot of people building and renovating villas, businesses are hiring staff, there is a job opportunity everywhere you see. It's very nice to see that Santorini, being the ultimate summer destination, is not only good for the tourists but it's also beneficial to the locals.
This is also a great opportunity of combining work and travel ;)
We had a lot of sunny days - more time for activities - and a surprise Catamaran tour of Santorini!
(Fun Fact: Santorini is the first destination we went twice to!)
Hey guys, time flies really fast! While we are not posting a lot in social media, we are still out and about busy with practicing and playing with our newest toys! You can imagine thousands of settings and combinations to capture moments!
A quick summary of our Scandinavian trip, we spent one week in Sweden for Christmas and 20 days in Norway for New Year until mid January. In Stockholm, we were going around the sites, but also balancing and making sure that we will be in our hosts at certain times and places because we were Couchsurfing.
We used Trusted House Sitters (THS) in Norway. THS lets you stay for free* in homes around the globe. All you need to do is take care and be a companion to their lovely pets and you have free accommodation in your choice of location! You can sign up here to get a 25% off of the annual fee. There is a one year membership and give you access to unlimited house sits everywhere!)
You will need to contact your hosts in THS earlier than you will arrive to make arrangements. When all that is settled, you just have to wait when it is time to go!
We arranged the Norway trip first then we decided to also visit Stockholm.
There are lots of things to see in Stockholm, one of the most amazing is their metro stations.
When is the best period to visit Santorini, Greece? Autumn! You can see more of the island because there is not so much crowd and everything is cheaper! (We booked through Kiwi, Athens to Santorini less than 10 euros per person)

Most of the hard work come from Kyrie's hand, Giorgos is the face on the photos, it's his "creative" shots and he's the master of the ceremony :) Live Your Myth
